Motul 7100 full synth in my M1100 and no issues.  As is being alluded to here by others, with your M1100 being dry clutched oil probably isnt so likely to be related to your transmission glitch.  FWIW, I always used Motul 7100 in my wet clutched M696 too with no issues.

Dont think its your oil.
