After fitting Speed Bleeders on my Bandit, I want to put them on my Monster as well.

I'd like to avoid removing the OEM bleeders to measure thread pitches and sizes, so can anyone tell me those values for the OEM Brembo masters and calipers on my '05 S4R?

Thanks,
  Dave

Just to clarify, the OEM brake fitment for an '05 S4R is widely known as goldlines.

I suspect early calipers and masters may be different on the bleeds.
But I've not checked, as I've never had reason to pull one out.  :-\

As far as the banjo fittings, everything's been 10x1 for what I've had my hands on.

And the winner is....Speeddog!!   ;D

Normally, I wouldn't doubt anyone who posted here either, but I had about 1 mm of thread to bias me.   ;D

So, I pulled one and it's M8 x 1.25.   [moto]

Bleeder should be SMALLER than a 10!?!?!  Banjo, sure. Bleeder...?

I would have guessed smaller than 8, but i guess i would have been wrong.

Which bleeder was it that was 8x1.25?

Front caliper...I wonder if the front brake master is the same?

I've mixed all (S2R1K & 749/999) of the front end masters and caliper banjos, and they were all the same thread wise.

I finally got around to replacing these and for posterity, I'm listing the bleeder thread sizes here for a desmoquattro S4R.

Front brake calipers = M8x1.25
Front brake master cylinder = M6x1
Clutch slave = M7x1
Rear brake caliper = M10x1
