i have 2003 m1000sie today i could not start my Duc when was hot out side and my check engine light was on but at evening it started and no light

If the check engine light is on, after you turn the ignition on,the first place to look would be the immobiliser.
Try the red key or spare key.check and replug the wire from the antenna located under the plastic cover around the ignition lock.
