Hi there,

I have a '99 SS 900 track bike that I am adding some lights to to make it street legal. The bike still has all the wires harnesses tucked up into it, but how do I figure out which wires I need to use and what is the best way to access them? Does Ducati sell wire harnesses that I can clip in to the existing harness that will separate out the wires for me?

Thanks

you can splice the power off one of the ignition wires. when you turn the ignition on the light comes on, and just run the ground back to the frame anywhere.

Thanks for the tip. I'm hooking up turn signals and a brake light also though so it would be helpful if I could figure out the pin-out of the existing harnesses.

The haynes manual has wiring schematics - should have what you need.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
