Hello New England Riders, I came across this ride in the NewEnglandRiders.org website.  Upstate New York is close enough to Toronto to ride out and enjoy some of your roads.  I'm looking at a ride that's out of Olde Forge New York doing a Lake Placid Loop and an Adirondack Loop

Here's the website:

http://www.newenglandriders.org/Great%20Routes%20and%20Rides/Ride%20Information.htm

And here's the southern Adirondack Routemap

Has anyone have any experience riding in this area.  Any comments or suggestions?  I'm planning on a full weekend trip the weekend of September 17th.

p.s. joiners are welcome.
I met this girl named Virginia.  She said "nice bike, you can call me Virgin for short, but not for long"

I'll revoke your passport if you do not get thee over to Moriah / Witherbee area (Blue Ridge not far from there)
and find county Rt 4 & 6 (edited) - County Rt  2 & 7 also good - 4 & 6 rule.

Very Very nice roads there - enjoy.

Lake Placid if fairly congested in summer & fall.

I second that road recommendation ... But there's a reason that most people on NESR and other forums censor the name of it when they post it...  ;)
