Looked on the local boards but I don't see one for NE, so posting this on GMF.   Looking at a monster on eBay, but scared to bid.  The guy doesn't seem to have a lot of info on the bike, because he is selling it for a friend.  Would love to have someone go look at it in person and give me their impression.  Would love to buy this bike, same as my first Duc, but with less mileage and looks in much better condition.  However, when I took photos of my bike and posted them for sale, the photos made it look brand new, though I know it was far from it.  If anybody here lives in the area and has some spare time, I would greatly appreciate it if they could have a look.    bow down

Searched Introductions, only one person admitted to being from Nebraska.  He's in Lincoln, about an hour away.

It's quite possible that I could run up there.....(with a few minor project-related contingencies).

PM me (or call if you still have my number).

Leaving for Moab on Thursday so it would have to be M-W.......

edit:  it would be a hellova lot closer for ZLTFUL in Iowa (local board = DRIowa) to check it out.
Randimus has his phone # so maybe we can coordinate something for you!  Although I'm not
averse to a road trip.....

Let me know!

Stella, you KICK ASS!  But, unless you live in Omaha, I don't want anyone to go.  I would really like the bike, if it's all that I think it is, but I don't want anyone going out of their way.  On a side note to Stella, there does happen to be a nice Supersport that I have been eyeing up, right in Denver.  I'll let you know if I get serious about that one.  For now, I was the high bidder for the Monster in Omaha, but the reserve was not met.  Will speak with the owner more tomorrow about the possibilities.  Sounded like a nice guy, but i just have trouble buying something for thousands of dollars that I have never seen in person or touched, only on the words of the seller.
