Ordered a black 796 yesterday

Small mods like barend mirrors I'll definitely manage to do on my own, but things like slip-ons/ ECU, sprockets etc, honestly don't see meself attempting that kind of mod any time soon.

In any case, just got word today from my dealer that my M796 black is on a ship sailing to Japan as we speak .  It will arrive on 16-Sep, go through the never ending inspection round for imported bikes (emission, electrical, suspension, safety, noise levels etc...) at the inspection centre, then it will go thru a second round of pre-delivery maintenance/servicing at the dealer's service factory (tightening bolts, checking and rechecking of everything basically...), get registered etc...  long story short, expected pick up date is October 3 .

PS: If anyone cares to read about the inspection system in Japan, there is some good info on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor-vehicle_inspection_(Japan).  Very annoying that I'll have to put the bike thru it all over again in 3 years, then every two years after that...
