Maint signal should light up!?

I reach 10k services point of my 620  2006 (precisely 10 596km). Maint signal didn't showed up... It is normal?

Maybe the bike thinks it's a 2007 12,000km service bike?
..... if Ducati put in the new dash/ECU in late 2006 bikes.... ??

I don't know whether it's supposed to show up at 12k km or miles but I just passed 12k miles and no message yet. Before, the maint message came up at around 7500 miles(12000 km), this is on an '06 S2R800. I finally got around to doing the maintenance around 8k miles or so, and didn't really get around to clearing the message until around 8500 or 9000. I'm not sure what units the service interval uses. If metric, then yay I don't have to do the valves again for another 7k miles or so. If not metric bummer I have to think about doing the valves again.
