Hi,
On a monster 696, what does the spanner icon on the LCD display mean?
Need new oil? Something wrong with engine?

Also, I assume that the monster came with a comprehensive user manual?

I just picked up a second hand one. With it, I got the warranty book, Word Dealer Guide, and Ducati Card Assistance Program (??)... but no actual user manual.

Thanks.

Means its due for service.

How many Kms/miles has it done?

You can download a user manual from here >>  http://www.ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do

Service time.  Take it to your local shop and they'll do what they gotta do.  Be prepared to spend upwards of $800 if it's 15,000mi service.
