Sport Classic 1000 Front Fender on a Monster?

Will a Sport Classic 1000 front fender work on a Monster?  If so, has anyone done it?  Any pictures?

It will fit, but if I remember correctly the plastic mounting bands are different.

The Monsters have the nut incorporated in the plastic mounting bands, and the SC has the nut incorporated in the fender (metal part).

A while back I installed a SS fender on a SC, and remember having to add nuts to the back of the stock SC plastic mounting bands.

Also a thought I had rolling about my head for that cafe style 750 I have. Stay out of my head man!

My buddy has a Paul Smart that has was going to let me borrow for a trial run. before I buy the parts. I'll post some pics for ya.

That looks tasty! I was thinking of using the one with the single bracket that runs over the top of the the fender in mounting. I was only concerned with the width of the sport classic fender...looks like a fit!

BTW I rode my Monster yesterday it felt pretty strong. I'm not supposed to take it over 5-6 grand for a while, but it pulls very strongly up to that point. I can't wait to see what it will look like on the dyno.

Just so you know, a GT1000 IS a Sport Classic.  But so is a Sport1000.  Sport Classic only refers to the model line, not a specific model.
