First of all, I fully blame Ducpainter for this.  You let the guy stay at your house one time and in the midst of all the drinking and commiserating he starts talking about his track friends that love their supermoto.

Then, you start missing a 450KTM you once had.

Then, you rationalize that you could pick up another one.  Just for the track.  You know, where it's safe.

Then, somehow, you talk the wife into a mini vacation where you drive from NW PA down to VA Beach and bring this thing home.

It's a 2020 Husqvarna FS-450 supermoto.  Race bike for sure.  No lights.  No signals.  No radiator fan even.

My last sumo was a 2010 KTM 450 exc that was like 270 pounds and probably 40 hp WITH a big bore kit I did and a (factory) flat slide carb.  Super fun bike.  Never cared if you rode it "wrong" or unsmooth.  It never punished you for mistakes.  Damn near full throttle everywhere.

THIS bike, though, needs more respect.  240lb WET weight and a claimed 62hp.  Fuel injected with two switchable on the fly maps (lean mode and mean mode)  Radial brakes too.  I bought it home last fall and took it down my road and back to the house.  About 2 minutes of riding.

It was immediately apparent this will not be a full throttle everywere ride  [laugh]

Here's to eating up slicks at the track  [drink]  [drink]  [shot]  [shot]  [Dolph]  [Dolph]

Congrats.

Paint job suggests it comes with a lifetime supply of Monster Energy Drink.

Lol right?!?

Previous owner bought aftermarket body work and had somebody make up those graphics. I don't know if you can spot them in the picture or not but there are 420s all over the thing.
