I know anything can be done, but what engines are a direct fit into an s*r frame.  I have a little project im starting and want something pre-immobilizer since i really dont want stock gauges.  Im leaning towards an older carbie just not sure what i can fit in the frame.

All the carbies will bolt in with opening up the motor mounts.

You'll need a harness, or modify yours.

I'm not sure, but if you can use an ignitek unit to fire the ignition, you could use any fi motor and add flatslides.

I'd contact ignitek about that.

Ignitech TCI-P4 has a Bike-Motorbike type choice named Ducati inj. 48-2 for carbs on ie engines.

Which S*R frame?

AFAIK, S2R and S4R frames are different, cross-tubes in the area of the throttle-bodies.
