Im having trouble finding an exhaust that will fit my application. First of all there arent many sales sites that I can find, and when I do, most stuff doesnt fit my bike (or at least my bike isnt listed).

Id be interested in hearing what other m800S owners are using.

Pretty certain exhausts for M600-M1000 are interchangeable.

Check out Monsterparts, Jeff has a large selection that actually list the M800.  Unless of course there are some major differences between the M800 and the M800S.  Contact Jeff.  He would know for sure.

No major differences, just suspension, CF and bodywork parts.  Exhaust should bolt right up.  You can download parts books for the 620-800-1000 series bikes and check part numbers to make sure.

Ok cool, yeah most places where I was looking were listing exhausts for M696 and M1100, I guess that means M696-M1100 (all models inclusive)

I think you may be a bit confused. M696/M1100 are the latest generation Monsters and exhausts for those will not fit your application. You need exhausts for M620/M900 generation bikes, dual-sided swingarm.

Not sure about that.  I can speak only of the ST framed Monsters of the 620-800-1000 doublesided swingarm persuasion.  Wait a bit and somebody more familiar with the newer stuff will chime in.

Ok

Can anyone also recommend brands to stay away from and brands to look at? Or does anyone have a personal favorite?

Do you mean the entire exhaust (headers, too) or just the muffler/silencer?

Not sure if all the M900-compatible exhausts will fit the 620/800/1000...try searching the board.

These systems will fit:

http://www.motowheels.com/italian/myproducts.cfm?parentcategoryid=2104%7CMonster%20Exhaust&CategoryID=2107|Monster%20Exhaust%20M600%2DM1000%2F%20MS4&collection=168%7CEuropean%20Motorcycle%20Parts

There are very small differences in the mountig hardware for the m600-M1000 series - but not big enough difference toworry about.
Contact Matt@motowheels.com if you have any questions on fit.
