M 696 indicator bulbs

I just got my bike back from the dealer after a small crash I had last month and though all's fine one of my rear signal light bulbs is out. After several auto stores and two duc dealers I'm miffed. My local dealer said 1 wk. and Cliff's in Brookfield CT. wanted me to drive down 100 miles to see if they have one in stock  . Has anyone found a replacement that works and or any suggestions. And yes I am waiting for new signals to arrive from Commonwealth but until then? Help please my arm is tired from all the left turns! By the way part # is 12v-10w RY 10w. Thanks.

same issue for me. 6 autoparts and motorcycle parts stores later... still can't find them locally.

I think my issue is that I didn't realize I put 21w front lights in on the aftermarket signals and they ended up blowing the rear lights. not sure how long I've been without 

anyway...
does anyone thing there's an issue with the stock wiring handling 21w front and rear signals instead of the stock 10w?
