Kevin Cameron discusses Ducati adopting vacural vacuum die casting.  I've known they were doing this for a while, but I liked his explaination of it.

He (Kevin Cameron) used to build the cranks we ran in the RD's I used to build. If We were dropping bits off or picking up completed units I would always plan a whole day to that. If you could get him talking he was a oral encyclopedia of information. Great guy, a little odd but that is a good thing to me.

I recall he had a WWII Radial airplane motor in his living room. How cool is that?
