Ducatiz "dream vintage car thread" set me off on a tangent.....  When travelling its always been a fun game spotting odd local versions versions (or even not so odd) of otherwise familiar cars....

This is a FIAT 600 circa 1959..

This... isnt...

(Its a Zastava 750 from around 1980).

What we have here is a '71 British "built" Hillman Avenger (badged as Plymouth Cricket for the USA)..

but WTF is this?

(Its an Argentine built 1980 VW 1500.  Proof the VW has no shame [laugh])

'57 Morris Oxford

Still built in India to this day....

order yours here >> http://www.hmambassador.com/showroom.asp

Tired of that old Aussie built '64 falcon?

Then how about '91 Falcon update? Thank you Ford of Argentina  [thumbsup]

Love those lights from the Cortina parts bin  [laugh].

So now its over to you....

It looks like a fetal VW bug, but it's not.. it's a Subaru 360

Rear engine, flat four, just like a bug..

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

A Citroen 2CV right?

Nope.  Its a 1980's  IES Súper América.  Thanks again Argentina  [thumbsup].

Here's yer actual French 2CV...

My wife once owned one of these lil' beauties  :o [laugh].  I learned to like it eventually.

Zastava's export models for "The West" were badged as Yugo.  AFAIK Zastava/Yugo never shipped thier FIAT 600 clone outside of Jugoslavia/The Eastern Bloc.....  (Except maybe to Greece).
