Belt skipped a tooth?

Not the original owner of the bike, it was running fine and then started having problems idling smooth and just running crappy. Disconnecting the spark plugs on the front cylinder would make the bike run better. The dealer couldn't get the CO to set correctly and after doing some looking around I found out how to time the engine and what you should look for to know it is timed correctly. Pulled out the plugs and rotated the rear wheel with it in gear until the two ticks aligned in the side cover. Peeked over at the cam pulleys when I noticed something out of the ordinary. The vertical cylinder was correct, as was the main pulley. This is what I saw when looking at the front cylinders marks...

Bike has 5000something miles on it and the belts feel loose to me, I read that you're supposed to be able to twist them by hand 45* and I can do them about 90* easily. 2006 S2R1000

Whether it skipped or was installed incorrectly it sure does look off a tooth.

Are the screws on the pulley tight?

Yep everything is good and tight now. Redid it so it lined up and the bike runs much better now

darn pesky adjustable cam pulleys
might want to investigate how to degree the cams, it's not much harder to do than what you just did and makes it run even more better
