Hi guys, im idling around 900rpm and it stalls on idle a bit.
I am wondering if the air bleed screws adjust anything else apart from idle?
Its to late anyway, ive adjusted both equally and am now idling around 1100rpm, just wondering if ive buggered anything else up?

Thanks in advance!

Yes.  They also affect CO and CO balance.  In theory you missed some checks, but if the bike runs and starts well,  [moto]

thanks.

it does, though still backfiring alittle, with everything balanced and checked many times by different mechanics.... went for the PC3 option and it has decreased it slightly though it still drives me mad!

How far open do you have the air screws?

And which bike?

3/4 of a turn

And it's an early S4R, yes?

How far open were they before you changed them?

As far as I can tell not very far. They were recessed deeply in the hole if that makes any sense
