Id say that's seawater to cool the heads.

yep - water to cool it. Same reason for the bucket is the same as why you bench test an outboard engine in a 55 gal drum. They don't have coolant like a car or a bike, but draw in water and circulate it to cool the engine.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

WOW DOES THAT SOUND GOOD.

I used to go to the seaport every weekend I could when they were building the Amistad and I lived near it in Ledyard. I bet the old blue hairs in the 100+ year old houses love them firing those motors up.

i've been to the seaport quite a few times... never seen behind the scenes  [thumbsup]
you've got reason to be proud :)

are u headed home for the holidays at all?

Yep, I'll be back in the 'hood for Christmas!

The white bucket is sea water for cooling.  Not sure where the fuel supply is coming from.

My dad works a regular work week, sometimes more from home, but still finds time to drive two hours to volunteer and follow his passion!!!

I can't wait to see him in a few weeks!  ;D

I find it disturbing that you're imagining me in a sauna, never mind the teletubbie aspect of it
