Wonderful news!! Congratulations to you and your wife!! My brother in law and his wife are in Phoenix, AZ right now with a brand new week old baby boy that they adopted. They are waiting for the all the legal paperwork to be completed so they can come back home to Dallas. They are frustrated at the molasses like pace the gov't. workers are going. But hopefully they'll be heading home tomorrow or it's going to be another long agonizing weekend in the hotel suite!

Again, awesome Christmas present for you and Mom!! You both must have been on Santa's really nice list. And RAT's right about them growing up in an instant and morphing into someone else! I have a 14 year boy to prove it... at least I think he's ours??

CONGRATS to you and your wife.  My daughter is 15 months old now.  We've enjoyed watching her growing up and learning new things.  She is a bundle of joy.  I am sure your daughter will bring you and your family the same joy and happiness!

Enjoy the heck out of her now because in 12-13 years or so you won't understand who she is, (nor will you want to know who she is)

but they sort of come back to normal in their 20's

congratulations.......  children grow up so fast.My two daughters are adults now, one is a banker and the other an engineering student at university. They were wonderful children growing up. I miss them a lot........ Enjoy life with your daughter, in the blink of an eye they are grown and doing their own thing.( true story!!)
