i used pipe cutters for my chop. i see you went with the old hammer and chisel method...

No, I don't see.

The tailchop looks fine.

What doesn't look fine, and what I think he was asking about, is the damage to the paint on and around the grab handles.

I'm guessing it's one of two things:

1) saddle bag mounting scratched off the paint

or

2) he scared the crap out of a female passenger whose nails scratched the crap out of it!!  cheeky


FWIW the 1098 tail light looks much better on a Monster.
