I plan on getting quick disconect valves for my fuel lines. Who has done this and where/ what size did you get?

The only brand you want is CPC, you can google it.  They have MANY types and orientations available, it just depends what you're trying to achieve.  Some BMW's come with the plastic CPC QD's, but they eventually break.  When you decide what you need, be sure to get the chrome plated brass ones, NOT plastic.  Here's one link to some basic sets which should give you some ideas, and likely they will work for you:

One consideration is these fittings take up a bit of space, if you are considering stuffing them into a tight space.

I do believe that you already have this.
It is standard on my 07 s2r.

There are about three threads on this here.  I think the search button should be removed.  [laugh]

In one of those threads, I posted the part numbers.  I got them from Omega.com

Here they are (metal with shut-off valves on both halves):
FT-LCD170-05: $24 (5/16" ID hose barb, In-line, 2.00" Length, Shutoff, Coupling body 1/4" flow);
FT-LCD220-05: $15 (5/16" ID, Hose barb, Straights, 1.85" LCD Length, Shutoff, Insert 1/4" flow).

Here's the thread: http://ducatimonsterforum.org/index.php?topic=21234.0 (look 3/4 of the way down page 1)

BTW, a good tip from Spidey (or maybe it was Speeddog):  orient the feed and return disconnects in opposite directions.  That way, you'll never mix them up.

The lines do "quick release", but they do have automatic shut off. Thus when I removed my tank, gas leaked every where. I do not want this to happen again.

I did a search, I guess I didn't do a good enough job. Thanks for the info.

They should shut off, they will leak a bit until the internal lines are empty, but that should be it.
