The only fitting guide I've found referencing the 695 for any replacement fork springs, rear shocks, etc. has been for a Hyperpro rear replacement shock.   boo

So here it is:

What other models used the Marzocchi 43 mm inverted forks?

What other models used the Sachs rear shock?

Also, it seems the aftermarket has no idea this bike also had an '08 model year.

You can look here for other bikes with the same forks
http://www.ducati.com/bikes/archive/index.do
I know that the S2R(800) had them and I think most of the other 600/620/750/800 had them as well.

Check parts catalogues for Sachs cross fit
http://www.ducati.com/services/maintenance/index.do

Or wait for someone to answer in full Cool

(the '08 695 was a surprise for me too!)

Check the frame sticker to verify when the bike was made.

'08 was likely a limited run of 695's, as IIRC the 696 was released on '08.
But perhaps it was an early release of '09 bikes....I got a parts catalogue for an '08 696, but it's not shown now.  Tongue

Anyway, according to my research:

'02 - '08; M620, M750, M800, S2R800, M900, M1000, S2R1000 all came with the same shock and spring.

'02 - '08; M620, M750, M800, S2R800 all came with essentially the same forks, at least externally.
There were changes to the internals, but that's a bit hard to pin down.

what are you trying to do?

I have a photo from summer 2006 of my first bike parked next to a 695 dark, the first one sold in Seattle (to an executive V.P. at the company I was working for at the time).  The 695 also came out in the summer, as an early model year for the next calendar year.  I bought mine a month or so before the 696es arrived.

I'm trying to research my options beyond what Ducati recommends (particularly after I learned the hard way that not all of the Performance options were designed to work together on the same bike).  I'd like to simply install stronger springs in the forks--don't do track days, so don't really have a need to adjust them once they're dialed in--but am not so sure about the rear of the bike.  The majority of the aftermarket accessories websites don't even list the 695 as a model.

Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of great information in here about suspension upgrades folks have done for their 695s.

Contact Traxxion Dynamics.  They have suspension upgrade kits for those of us with the crappy stock suspension.  I have an S2R800 and had the internals upgraded with their GP Racing fork upgrade kit.  Even if you don't find what you are looking for on their site, give them a call and they can point you in the right direction.
