Anyone have a spare 696 midpipe lying around?

I'd like to remove the midpipe on my 1100S, along with the flapper assembly...I have the Duc.EE installed, etc...but I don't think I can remove that assembly and leave the stock midpipe...

My understanding is that a stock 696 midpipe should fit just fine...but I can't find one anywhere...

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Mike B

The 696 midpipe will work on the 1100.... I sold mine to ungeheuer so he knows first hand.

Check ebay, there seem to be a lot of misc parts on there from crashed bikes.

Or someone who has bought ryanracers exhaust might have an extra one.... Since his exhaust comes with new mid pipe

While it would be nice to get rid of the midpipe it is not necessary to do so because of the EE installation. The default setting is open and I would doubt that leaving the midpipe in place has any negative effect.

Confirmed, its a direct swap. Although I since went another route and sold DoWorkSon's 696 midpipe to yet another M1100 owner.

Not necessary, but nice nonetheless. The negatives of the flapper IMO are these: Its an eyesore.  It acts as a heat-sink.  Even open it still must be disrupting the gas flow to some degree.
