airhawk seat pad ?????

as i have 2 monsters an aftermarket corbin or sargeant seat for each would be too expensive as they have differnt size M750 and S4  also in Uk they are $ 700 each .

i have tried reshaping and extra padding on the standard seat but on long journeys over 300 mile its still a pain .
so i think an airhawk pad may be the answer as it can be moved from bike to bike as required , i think the small cruiser pad is the one i need ...anyoone done this ?

i dont have any fhe with him, but it's pretty cheap in terms of pricing and he gets amazing reviews.  probably something like $180 for both your bikes i think

I am shipping my S4 seat out tomorrow to Spencers/Frank, and I will let you know how it feels.  It should not take that long as he is known for quick turnarounds.  If it is as claimed and written about it will be well worth the $85.00 for the LD package.  

I asked him to make it as he described >>"You can have firm support in the thighs for good bike control, medium support on the tail bone for long distance comfort, and a softer mid line to take pressure off of your more sensitive parts."<<

I missed that about the spencer, The seat that you had done was it not done right or poor materials or ?

Has any one used the Spencer fix?  I have zero fat on my butt so I am looking forward to getting mine back.  I noticed the Airhawks cost a bit.

shipping from the uk shouldnt be that bad i think... thailand is probably another matter totally though.

and who modified your seat in the uk?  i know a lot of the people who do custom seats are willing to adjust them a bit if they are still uncomfortable... have you tried talking to the people that did it and see if they are up for it?

basicaly the people who modified the seat did not follow my instructions and I no longer trust them they did not add padding to the front and just shaved foam from the rear part so i still slide forward

I use an airhawk pad.  It's awesome, though mine is getting older and I have developed a couple leaks (they sent me a patch kit for nothing)  Id say I've had it 5 years or so.  Fits any bike. 

I only use the rear strap to attach it.  That way I can stand up, flip the pad up and sit on the actual seat.  Makes for a nicer long trip when you can change things up a bit.
