The 998 biposto seat comes with one half the foam.

I could razor the foam from the mono seat, but eventually I'd like to be able to switch between them. Call me a flip-flopper.

The foam is firm, almost as firm as those shit flip-flops you find around.

Anyone have a source for it, or a good substitute? I assume I can order it as an OEM part. I also assume I have no desire to pay the price.

Also, I've checked the standard big boxes. Nothing to speak of in crafts section of Walmart or Hobby Lobby.

Have you tried a sports store? Looks like padding for maybe a karate pad or something.

How thick is it? Looks like standard neoprene foam. You can buy it from mcmaster.com or if you need 1/2" or want to laminate a few 1/2" pieces then I can send you some. I've had it laying around for a while. Use spray adhesive to mount it.
