Brake Pad Questions

So, when I bought my bike a couple of months ago (I have put about 500 miles on it thus far) the brakes were a  little squeaky. Before I bought the bike I told the dealership to check the brakes out and they did and told me they still have tons left on them. On my last bike, the brakes never made any noise or anything. There is a little pulsating in the front... Should I look into replacing them soon? And how can I tell without completely taking the calipers off to check if they are ok or not. And has anyone else ran into their breaks making noise but being ok? Haven't really heard of that before.

I have actually similar type of problem in monster 796. During braking I feel pulsation. It is worst when I brake hard with the front brake and speed is over 80km/h. It feels that handlebar is shaked up and down and feels very uncomfortable. At low speed pulsation frequency is slower and the effect is not that powerful.
Bike has 7000km and I cleaned the brake rivets (rivets that hold the brake disc). Unfortunately cleaning did not help. In my previous motorcycle ktm superduke cleaning the rivets always helped. Superduke has also brembo brakes.
I have not cleaned or taken brake calipers off.
Any ideas?

Clean the rotor blades with brake cleaner and a ScotchBrite pad, sand the pads and chamfer the leading, top and bottom edges, re-bed.  Tghis might work for both of you.

ympyrä , did you speak to the dealer?  A serious brake vibration is a warranty issue.

The ABS will only pulse if a wheel is starting to lock, usually about 7% slip.  Yes, it could malfunction, but this symptom is unlikely.  An easy way to eliminate ABS as the cause is to disable it.

It is non abs model. No I have not yet talked to dealer. I will contact the dealer. Do you guys remember how long ducati warranty is in EU?
