A while back I posted that my current lease was just about up and I was debating buying out the lease, then selling the car on the open market.  Did that, made some cash off the deal and ended up leasing a loaded A3:

It's a fun little car and it's mine for the next 42 months.

Nice!!  [thumbsup]

We looked at those when we test drove the Q5.  Need a little more room in the back end though with baby and new dog.

Our neighbor in Austin had a 2 door A3.  We wanted to buy one at the time but they didn't/don't sell them in the US.

Do the leases include all the maint through the lease?  Never leased a car but considering it lately.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

i have been lusting after these...would you mind coming back in 6 months when the "new" has worn off and giving us an honest evaluation?

didja get a TDI or gasser?

cant remember for sure, but i don't think we can get it in a TDI here...at least not in the all wheel drive variety.

I asked about the TDI but I wasn't interested in being on a wait list.  Leasing doesn't include the annual maintenance, but I bought it for $750 more.  Once I've put a few miles on it, I'll post up.

drove one for 2 weeks while in ireland  [thumbsup]
fun car, but the steering wheel was on the wrong side  ;D
i was amazed how much room was in the trunk,
we fit 2 full size suitcases side by side in there.

i also had one as a loaner for 2 days while my A4 was being serviced here in the states...
it had way more umph than the euro version  [evil]
