I have heard alot about lowering your seat height but never really heard anything about raising it. Ever since I put clipons on my bike I seem to be leaning so far forward that I keep sliding into my tank. When I push myself back to the back of the seat It feels great, my knees lock into the tank like they should and the riding position feels better for my back. I'm 6 feet tall and I do not need to be any lower.

I seen alot of people cutting the back of their seat foam to lower and flatten the whole contour of it but I'm thinking about building up the front with foam. I was just wondering if anybody has done anything like this?

Oh yeah I love my clipons and do not want to go back to the old position. I'm also to cheap to buy a new seat and my bike has mostly been DIY so I would like to do it myself.

same problem here, but its not really the height of the seat, its the design of the seat It does indeed tilt foward a slight bit. you can even out the seat if you like, or raise the front to match the max height in the rear.

I persoanlly shaved the rear of the seat, and added a little hump for back support so when i gun it , i dont slide back 3 inches, its also alot more level so no more tail bone being jacked up.

Just remove the cover on your seat, buy some foam, grab a spray can of glue and get an electric knife. Glue on some foam, shave to desire shape and your done. However, I wouldnt do it because of hte hotspots the seat has, I would just lower the seat, and jack up the suspension to compensate.
