Flying from Brisbane to Paris via Seoul in July /August and have got a stopover, overnight in Seoul. Any suggestions?
Food markets (preferably not of the canine variety), restaurants (ditto) and sights that are pretty close to Incheon airport.
Oh yes, things to avoid too!
Thanks

I don't have any specifics, as it's been a while, but try to get to Itaewan.  You can pretty much find anything there.

ducatiz

go to Itaewon and throw a soju bottle.. you'll hit an "anma" (안마) go there.

"Yelling out of cars, turning your speakers out the window to blast your music onto the street, setting off M-80 firecrackers, firing automatic weapons into the airâ€"these are all well and good. But none of them create a merry atmosphere of insouciance and bonhomie quite like a revving motorcycle.

I too will be in Seoul later this year, on my way to Bangkok.  Any info anyone can give will be great! [thumbsup]

I was rarely in Seoul while in Korea, but this is where we went when we were.

Can give you some info on Bangkok if you want, my wife and I got married in Thailand about 18 months ago and had a couple of days in Bangkok on the way over and back.
