ECU Codes need help

I have my '03 Monster M1000Sie at the local Ducati dealership in Baltimore.  They originally put a new ECU in it but now that that is done they are getting a code from the ECU saying something about open circuit idle/ RPM circuit and they have no idea what that means.  They have already been waiting 24 hours for their Ducati service rep to get back to them.  Anyone know where I could find that info.
Searched here and with google and had no luck.  They've had the bike for 4 weeks now and I feel as I am being jerked around a bit.
