S2R 1000 Low Fuel Light not working

My low fuel light is not working. I checked the green wire and orange wire on the small silver thingy. The green wire broke off easily. I soldered the green wire back on but this did not fix it. The connector seems good. What can I try next? Thanks...

Put a new sender in.

Not sure which silver thingy you broke the wire off of though.
