Starting Issues 02' 620

Rode the bike around on Monday everything was fine. It sat all week outside with the cover on, but there have been a few monsoons in NY, and when I went to start today the starter button was dead. One concern of mine is with the immobilizer. The gauges have been dead for over a year from moisture, but the immobilizer light always came on and the bike ran fine. Today, no light. Would you be able to turn the key (fuel pump turns on) if the immobilizer was busted?
