ASV F5 Shorty Levers Review of warranty and crash results

Pros:
Look nice
Easy to adjust

Other:
Warrenty covers total failure of the parts but AVS will work with you within reason.

They are very sturdy but this just moves the damage from the lever to the VERY costly front brake mater cylinder, mine stripped out at the bolts. However a simple helicoil fixed this.

Interesting. A friend had ASV's and one of the springs broke. ASV sent him new springs under warranty.

The warranty is for broken parts, right? You are admitting nothing is broken, only cosmetic damage?  I don't see the issue. The levers did their job and didn't break.  :-\

5 year warranty on lever bending or breaking.  Seems neither occurred.   Why would they pay for you going down?   Cosmetic problems mean you can ride home instead of having a broken lever and needing a tow
