1993-1999 M900 Starter Motor Brushes

My 1995 M900's starter motor needs new brushes, but Ducati only supplies a complete starter motor for hundreds of dollars.

On the starter motor is a label with the following text:

Code:

270 4001 1A
128000-6050
12V
DENSO Made in Japan

I believe the starter motor is the same for all the 1990's Monsters and Supersports.

Does anyone know where I can buy brushes for a 1995 M900 starter motor?

There's a post on TOB in the OEM parts sticky in the Tech forum that lists part numbers for some Kawasaki brushes (and the brush holder assembly too) that fit.
