I have a 05 S4R, after riding a few different bikes I noticed my throttle requires more "muscle" to twist. Is there any way to adjust it?

There's no adjustment and I find Duc throttle in good order quite easy - good order being key.

Couple things to do:
- Make sure the area where the throttle cable connects to the cam on the side of the throttle body is clean. A shot of WD-40, deep creep or other similar product can't hurt
- Lubricate the cable. Dri slide or other cable specific lubricant should be used.
- Check the assembly on the handle bar to ensure there's nothing rubbing or binding. A small shot of the cable lube in that housing won't hurt.
- Make sure the cable isn't routed in such a way that there's a sharp bend that would cause inordinate drag of the cable on the jacket.

If you've never serviced/lubricated the throttle cable on a 6 year old bike... I'd bet that it just needs a bit of a clean and lube.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.
