I made the jump to a smart phone over the weekend (Casio Commando, since I've had such great luck with a series of rugged, waterproof Casio G'zone phones and have gotten used to not worrying about them when I'm kayaking or riding in the rain) and so far am finding it pretty useful. And fun.

While I've downloaded a handful of free apps, I'd be very interested in recommendations of Android apps (free or paid) that you'd consider essential.

In particular, I'm open to recommendations for good GPS apps for hiking, MTB and/or motorcycle navigation.

Go to web browser search for snappzmarket.com or blackmart alpha. Once you get those apps installed enjoy. Get the Moto GP app. Its only expensive if you do not listen to my first sentence. Enjoy.
