Monster750ie

Afternoon everyone,

I recently purchased a 2002 750 ie. The swingarm on the bike has quite a bit of rust so i was wondering if anyone can point me to an aluminum monster swingarm that would fit as a direct bolt on or with some minor mods. I greatly appreciate the help!!

Unless you're dead set on aluminum you're better off just cleaning up the current one unless it's more than surface rust. Finding an aluminum swing arm would need to be a salvage thing... unless you go buck wild and have one made (yes someone had a CNC billet one made). So you might be hunting for a long long time.

If it's just surface rust you could have it cleaned and powder coated for a few hundred bucks. Done and done.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

do you know if a 99 M900 swingarm would fit? my current arm is past the point of salvaging its more than surface rust.

It will not. In 2001/2002 they frame was changed and so was the rear suspension. You shock and suspension will not work with a swing arm from the 'hoop' era. Do an image search in Google for 2001 Ducati monster and you'll see the hoop I mention. It's attached to the swing arm and then to a rocker which the shock is attached to as well.

Look for a something from 2002 or later. A 900, 750, 800 or S4 should be good donors.

'01 and '02 S4 definitely.
IIRC there was a M800S that had the aluminum swingarm.
'02 M900 may have had one.
I don't think the '02 M750 had an aluminum swinger.
