New Ducati Monster 1100evo maintenance

So, I am new to the motorcycle world and am in need of some assistance. I just purchased a new, but demoed Ducati M1100evo. It had 1,600 miles when i purchased it, and had obviously had its first service already, an oil change. But now I'm curious as to when i should go and get its next service. I know not anytime soon, but i would like to know an eta of when. I use the bike everyday, except for those rainy days. I commute 4 times a week about 50 miles, and the other three days about 20 miles. So, in a week i travel about 250-300 miles, in a month about 1,000-1,200miles. Any ideas of how often i should get my bike maintenance in a year, how many months apart? How much am I looking to spend each time? Just a ball park answer would suffice. Thanks people.

Major service is every 7500 miles on an M1100, so about every ~6 months.

Best to change oil at about half that, so every ~3 months.
