I dropped my M696 at the dealer today (Gold Coast, NY) for the 600 mile maintenance and my ZI ???N check came up with 3 recalls.
1. Coil --> I knew about this recall
2. Breather
3. Harness

Has anyone heard about the Breather/Harness recalls? If so, can you shed some light about it?

Thank you, Ray

i think the harness is the oil temp sensor wire touching the horizontal cyl. on the service bulletins
haven't heard or seen anything on the breather.

oh by the way they are service bulletins not recalls.

go back to your dealer and get the specifics and post it here for us.

never had the coil issue

harness issue took about 2 minutes to fix - tech zip tied the wire away from the cylinder fins

never heard of the breather issue

Old thread, but I thought I'd mention that these are not recalls but TSB's (Technical Service Bulletins).

Yes, one of those TSB's happens to be a recall as well (the wiring harness getting too close to the cylinder head). Ducati's official super secret squirrel fix is to use zip ties.
