I have a set of REV'IT Curb gloves that fit like they were custom taylored to my hand, better than any other glove manufacturer I've tried.  I just got a new Dainese jacket (Racing Pelle) and the cuffs are really designed to go under a glove not over it, so I'm looking at a set of REV'IT gauntlets.  Looking at the side by side comparison on motorcycle-superstore, I really cant see a difference that warrents another $80 for the Tarmac glove over the RSR.

Anyone have any first hand experience with these gloves?

I have the SLR's, the predecessors to the RSR's, and they are pretty awesome... cept that one design issue came up due to the hard palm slider.  There was a sharp edge to the left gloves slider and after about 8 months of use it wore through the leather.  It was right on the edge of the palm slider, about where the majority of my palm pressure goes.  I still had it under the 1 yr Rev'it warranty and they actually got me the Jerez gloves as a replacement for a extra $80 as the SLR's were no longer being made... and the RSR's werent out yet.

So comparing the SLR's vs the Jerez (low/mid end vs top glove)... i'm not sure if the price diff is worth it, but I also havent crashed in either one though.  The Jerez def has more protection though.

I just noticed motorcycle-superstore has the SLR's as well.  Now I REALLY dont get the lineup.  As far as price is concerned it goes RSR, SLR, Tarmac, Jerez at $120, $150, $200, and $230, respectively...Since I spent $120 on the short gloves, I cant see the $120 gauntlets being the same level of performance/quality, and if the SLR's are discontinued, that leaves the Tarmac and Jerez, and the Jerez although nice, might be a little overkill for my needs (mostly agressive street riding, and entry level track days...agressive meaning canyons and mountains, as opposed to just back and forth to work)
