bike runs fine without it, the service manual shows the dust seal to go over the whole bearing, which makes no sense to me since the spacer rests on the inner seal of the bearing. if the dust seal is indeed ontop of the bearing there wouldnt be enoug hspace for the axle, unless im seeing it wrong.
