Just had to vent a little.  I was getting ready to head to Rhodeside, all is well.  Bike's getting warm, so time to go.  I roll the bike back and *crrruch* and it comes to a stop.  Won't roll forward, won't roll back.

WTF!? Just happened?

Sound came from the rear so I start looking around.  Very quickly I find a chunk of my CF rear fender popped out and cracked.  Man...

Out come to tools and off comes the fender.  In some freak accident a rock stuck to my tire and got rolled up in the hugger, and managed to turn wide side out right as it hit a seam of my hugger doing a good bit of messy damage.

I took my wounded fender in my house and decided this was a sign that I should stay home.

What a pisser.

So yeah - if you were looking at my gear for sale - time to buy since I got a hugger to buy.
-Throttle's on the right, so are the brakes.  Good luck.

Hey not one but two of us ended up with screws in our tires, one front, one rear, roadside plug repair, bicycle pump etc... and we made it to Rhodeside! What were you saying about a pebble?

pebbles happen....geeez laweeeze...

BTW Yuu.....you could feasably go the route of repair and paint! leaving portions of the Carbon exposed like others have done and covering up the repair stuffs with the nice new painting stuffs

Repair is a maybe - it's been pushed out from the inside and created a number of different faults.  CF being what it is, it doesn't want to go back in place.

Cost of repair, and paint would prolly cost me more than a new one.

Might jsut go nekkid for a while - I like that look anways
