2012 Monster 1100 EVO break-in period

I have 3700 miles on bike. Sounds and feels better than when I bought it. it noticeably had its "break-in" when it hit about 1750- 1800 miles. Man this bike just purrs. Bike is in its zone at no less than 92 mph.  at 103 mph its cruising nice. What's your bike's optimum riding numbers? this is my opinion.

Anything over 35 mph. It's well broken in at 26,000 miles.

Turned over the magic 1000 klm today, had first service.

Time to ride it some more!
Have noticed big changes in behaviour already, looking forward to stretching the legs some more

My 2011 evo monster has 1,156 miles. I have noticed that the more miles you put on it, the better it rides...hope I can put another 1k this summer.

Forgot to add, if you haven't done so, change your sprocket to a 14T. It will make a world of a difference. Especially when you're cruising around town.

Mid range is excellent, fuel range growing?
I spent most of today between 5000 and 7000 rpm, and that band is sweet!

3300 miles on mine, just had second oil change done. sweet spot is between 4500-7500 rpm, sucks under that.....dealing with an intermittent dtc issue that neither the dealer or myself can isolate.....front rotors are warped and hopefully being replaced under warranty. other then that its been a kick in the ass

2300 Klms on mine, sweet zone is 4k Rpm and greater, installed termi slipons, DP ecu,air box, 14t sprocket at 1st service....made big difference, still thinking I'll get the stock ecu reflashed to remove the closed loop system on the rev range less than 4k rpm.....engine seems to run lean with plenty of popping on deceleration. I think a richer a/f should ( hopefully) iron out the rough running below 4k.

Oh yeah......Very very happy....Awesome bike
