The crank case breather behind the rear pot on my 750ss is leaking at the base , I know it just screws off but its really on tight  and  i cant get at it with a strap wrench or chickenlegs  unless i remove the engine  any ideas  ?????i want to put a new seal on it

I just used a pair of channel locks, which worked fine. You may want to wrap the teeth with a rag or electrical tape so you don't mar any finishes.

When you reinstall the breather, put a bead of gasket maker between the engine and the breather to prevent any further leaks. [Dolph]
