I want to see what my bike looks like in my room.  Problem is that there is a narrow hollway and I just can't maneuver the nose inside.  I can get the front of the tire in but no clearance for the forks.  I was thinking to try a dolly as my last resort but I have kind of given up.  Any other ideas?

Theres a ton of people who put their bikes inside their house.

a dolly will defintely help, but be smart about it. if it aint going to fit, a dolly wont help.

its not that part thats the joke, hell my uncle sold his kitchen table to be able to fit his early ss in the kitchen! but it was in there for security. wanting to "see what it looks like in my room" is a strange reason to go to the effort for and secondly if you can fit "the front of the tyre in but no clearance for the forks" then what are you going to do when you get to the engine let alone handle bars.... in my head im not seeing this being possible

if its jamming because its too sharp of a corner just get someone to drag the front/rear end around....

Should be easy.  Just disassemble the bike outside, carry the pieces inside, and reassemble.

either that or wheelie it up on the back wheel and balance it rolling around the house walking behind it like a bicycle...

I've put no end of bikes indoors mainly for security reasons over the years, and am always amazed by how much larger a bike actually is when going in compared to how much space you think you have.

If you are struggling at the first hurdle (so to speak) I dont think it will go - post up some pics!

Yup there is no way.  I left it in the living room for now....and yes the thing is much bigger than you think once you actually bring it inside.  The wheelie idea skipped my mind.  I have yet to see that movie.  At least I got a couple laughs from you guys.  [thumbsup]
