Gas in crankcase - manual petcock? New float valves?

So I noticed my oil level was high on my 96 Monster. I drained a little out and sure enough there was gas in there. I drained the oil (just changed it last week [bang]) and pulled the plugs. Is there anything else I need to do?

A little background. I've been having issues with gas overflowing out of the vent on the carbs while its running (FCR 41's) so I'm thinking its a stuck float. I pulled the carbs apart the other day and everything looked fine. Can I buy new float valves and pins just to be sure?

I'm also wanting to put a manual petcock on. Any ideas on which petcock to buy and how to plug the vacuum line from the old one?

Any 5/16 or 8 mm. will work.  This is the one on my bike  http://www.bikebandit.com/motion-pro-inline-fuel-valve  Pingle and Helix make aftermarket ones too.

The petcock will stop flooding when the bike is not running if a needle sticks or the bike tips over.  Inspect and clean or replace the needle and seat assemblies as needed.  What fuel pressure are you running?

What ever the stock Keihin 5 side fuel pump puts out. I think I remember reading 2-3 psi but I could be wrong

That's fine.  I just wanted to make sure you didn't ave an aftermarket electric with too much pressure.
