So when r u going to bring urs in for the 1st service .. If u do in the next week or two please let me know what they did ect. Thank you :)

I have 50 more miles to go, so it will be by the end of this month for sure. You can see the maintenance schedule starting on page 120 of your owners manual. This manual is your friend, so read it. It lists all of the 600-mile services.

Make sure you get your rear wheel and fuel lines replaced at the same time. I'm also getting a 14T installed, which you may want to consider.

The rear wheel and fuel lines have been recalled by Ducati for safety reasons. They can both develop cracks. Your dealer will know this, but call ahead of time to make sure he has the replacement parts for you. You will not be charged.

A 14T is a 14-tooth primary (front) sprocket to replace the stock 15T. It's an official Ducati option and it mitigates the very-high gearing of the bike in it's as-delivered set-up. It basically allows you to use 6th gear at speeds below 85 mph. You must have noticed the high gearing with the miles you have on it so far.

Got you. both wheels and fuel lines were replaced two days before I bought the bike. Also they replaced the fork for me coz it had a leak from that screw on the right side. now I have enkei wheels on . Plus I put a warranty on the wheels and tires for 36 months. Abt the sprocket I haven't heard anything ... and the only time I used 6th gear was on 90mph + speeds ..

Just for the record, a "backfire" is when fire goes backwards, as in into your air intake.

Exhaust popping is not a backfire.
