2006 S2R1000

I'm trying to install a pressure plate on this bike.  The original had the push rod pin so seized in the throw out bearing that it just wouldn't come out, broke a punch trying to hammer it out, so that whole thing had to go.  I got an STM push pin from Desmo times to put in the new pressure plate.  Goes into the new Rizoma plate just fine.
The problem is, the pushrod doesn't seem to go in all the way, when I mount the plate on the push rod and push it in as far as it will go, the plate still doesn't make contact with the clutch pack.  Any ideas?

Nevermind, got it.  If anybody else looks this up for some reason, just had to move the clutch pedal around a little and it loosened it back up
