I have Michelin Pilot Road tires on my Monster 695. The rear will need replacing shortly. Would it be ok to leave the Pilot Road on the front and switch to the Pilot 2 or Pilot 3 on the rear?

It rains a lot here and the Pilot 3 sounds like it has better wet weather handling then the previous models.

Thanks

I went from Diablo Rosso's front and rear to an Angel in the back.  I dont see any reason why your case would be different.

I've been riding with a bridgestone bt 023 on the front and a pilot road 2 on the rear for almost 10k miles now without any adverse effect. the road 2 is a good tire for tread life. it grips ok in the rain, but to me it doesn't provide much feedback. the road 3 it supposed to be the same idea with the dual compound layout but made of softer rubber compounds.
